Close Inactive Google Workspace Account
Google has implemented a policy delete inactive Google Workspace accountsfor a period of time to help domain owners easily register new Google Workspace accounts.
Why does Google delete inactive accounts?

Some customers cannot register a Google Workspace account because their domain is linked to an account that is currently inactive. To resolve this, Google will delete inactive accounts within 30-60 days from the first notification.
What should you do if you receive a notification?

Keep the account: Log in to Google Admin Console before the deadline to reactivate your account. After logging in, you will receive an email within the next 48 hours confirming that your account is no longer subject to deletion.

Keep data only: Use the Data Export tool to export your data and then unsubscribe from your Google Workspace account. Once the export is complete, follow the instructions toUnsubscribe from your Google Workspace .

Delete the account: If you don't want to keep the account or data, you don't need to take any action. The account will be automatically deleted after 60 days.
Important notes:

When your account is deleted, you will no longer have access to Google Workspace services and your organization's data will be permanently deleted.

You can still register a new account with the same domain after the old account is deleted.
- You will no longer be charged for your Google Workspace subscription.
- No one can access your old data by creating a new Google Workspace account with the same domain.
