From September 23, 2024, Google Workspace Business Starter users will officially have access to Shared Drives
What is Shared Drives?WithShared Drives, you can create shared drives, invite members to join, and share files conveniently. The great thing is that all content will always exist in the shared drive, even if some members leave, ensuring that important data is not lost. Below are the benefits thatShared Drivesbrings:

Easy Search: Reduce the time required to request access and search for documents. Everything is stored centrally. -
Permanent Content: Documents will not be lost, even if a member leaves the group. -
Easy Collaboration: All members can edit, search, and use the same file efficiently. You can also invite people outside the organization to participate! -
Access Anywhere: No matter where you are or what device you use, all important documents are always at your fingertips.
Important:To ensure flexibility, administrators can adjust the permissions to createShared Drivesfor each member in the organization. Please go toAdmin Consoleto set up these permissions before the feature is officially activated.

Starting from26/08/2024, Google Workspace will gradually enable this feature for customers on theBusiness Starter.
